Thanks for joining in for this free training!
We’ve made a lot of progress this week, and I’m humbled and honored to be part of the transformation for many burned out mamas, like Steph:
“I could feel it. Very powerful and calming.”
We gather together in community because we need each other, like Jacqueline:
“Grateful to know that I’m not the only one having these feelings.”
That’s why I want to keep this going, with more teaching and more collaboration.
You’re warmly invited to join me as a student in my Stress Mastery for Busy Moms Super Mini eCourse.
Why “Super Mini?” Because you don’t have time for more than that!
I’d like to unpack what you got a glimpse of through this challenge with more info on:
- how to use your primary stress reaction to choose your best personal recharge techniques
- how to find just the right amount of stress that it can be used for fuel, not overwhelm
- the importance of reframing (and where to dig up the capacity to be able to do that mental exercise)
- best recharges for stress eaters and those in the “freeze” state
- the 3-step stress mastery formula, including WHEN to take recharge breaks
But the true gold is in the reminders that interrupt your phone scrolling:

I’ll Be Your Accountability Buddy for a While

Katie Kimball here, acting like I have lots of energy…
Let’s be friends? 😉
My favorite part of the whole course is that we’ll use text reminders to help you actually implement the strategies (imagine a friend reminding you to take time to breathe).
It’s one thing to understand a new habit, but it’s completely another to implement!
Shoot, I pick up my phone to send one text, and 20 minutes and 5 apps later, I canNOT remember why I even picked up the blasted thing! How will I remember to stop midday and practice gratitude???
That’s what the text coaching is for — interrupting the distracting notifications with an anti-distraction, a stress mastery practice reminder from your coach.
Be sure to share your cell number during checkout if you want to opt-in to this helpful addition – INCLUDED with your course purchase!!

You’ll learn exact methods to truly transform the stress you feel into something that can help you through your life, taking only a few minutes a day.

Can you manage it?
- Can you get through 2 hours of podcasts in a month? You can do this. The whole course takes less than 2 hours, delivered video OR audio!
- Is your family worth a half hour a week for 3-4 weeks? They are. That’s all it takes, maybe less.
- Do you love reading a quick article or two a few times a week to feed your brain? This is the same. We include skim notes so you can get the gist in literally 15 minutes total and only dig in where you need more info! We get it, Mama…every minute matters.
PLUS through midnight on Saturday, September 18, 2021, new students get a special $99 value bonus: a live group coaching session via Zoom to dial in the techniques very personally and get extra ideas to truly implement what you learn in your busy life!
What you get when you join:

Day One
My program that allows me to share my screen wasn’t cooperating, so here are the slides I would have shared with you if I could have.

Hopefully the systems will be behaving for the rest of the week!
Day One Homework
Here’s your first “homework” action step!
Make a decision, a declaration to commit to making a change. Write it out publicly in the Facebook comments here, because we’re more likely to be successful when we state something to other people!
If you’re not using social media consider looping in a friend or your spouse to participate and keep you accountable.
Try to notice when your brain goes into the more primitive lizard brain or monkey mind. This awareness will help you master your stress with the strategies you’ll learn the next 4 days of the challenge!

Day Two
Day Two Homework
Today we learned about the 6 different types of stress reactions – what your body does automatically when you experience stress in your brain. Let’s figure out a little more about YOUR personal reactions today.
Reflect on some stressful moments in the last week. How did your body (and brain) react? What is your primary stress reaction right now? (Any secondary reactions you see showing up as well?)
Now reflect on the MOST stressful moments you can remember from your life. Has your primary stress reaction changed over the years? What can you learn from that?
I look forward to hearing your thoughts here on the homework thread in the Facebook group, and see you again for day 3, all about your new BFF! 😉
If you’re not using social media consider looping in a friend or your spouse to participate and keep you accountable.

Day Three Homework
When we plan ahead, we do better!
I’m not a gambling person, but if I was, I would bet that you’ll encounter a stressful situation in the next day, and that you might be tempted to react instead of respond. Amiright?
So let’s do this for homework:
Forecast into the next 24 hours: when do you anticipate you might need to take back your brain?
PLAN ahead to take a few 3/6 breaths and see what happens, and tell us your plan in the Facebook group! If you’re not using social media consider looping in a friend or your spouse to participate and keep you accountable.
See you tomorrow for a practical recharge opportunity and a big announcement!

Day Four
Day Four Homework
We’ve said since the beginning of this challenge that the part of stress that we’re in control of is our capacity, not always our demands…
BUT sometimes, you can be in charge of your demands. We brainstormed today about how each of us might find ways to decrease our demands, which will allow us more capacity to be the moms we really want to be.
Homework for today is to walk the walk:

Figure out ONE place in your life where you can decrease a demand by saying no, delegating, or shifting your mindset and letting go.
I don’t recommend doing this one w/o watching the video training, because we discussed realistic options for ALL mamas, no matter your state in life!
Share with us in the Facebook group what you’re going to cut – I look forward to supporting you in whatever you come up with. (If you’re not using social media consider looping in a friend or your spouse to participate and keep you accountable.)
Btw, enrollment is OPEN to continue to learn about stress mastery as a student in my mini eCourse for busy moms, PLUS you can get a fast action bonus including group coaching and accountability partners if you join before Saturday at midnight!

Day Five
Day Five Homework
All right, ladies…we know the phone is a great tool but also a great downfall for many.
Can we do this???
COMMIT to avoiding your phone the first hour of the day!

Type it out on the Facebook thread, share with your spouse or close friends, and make it REAL!
If you want, you can also share how this will change your routine and any predicted impact you think it will make.
You’ll hear from me tomorrow morning if you’re signed up for texts, so look out! *insert evil laugh*
The challenge is over-but-not-over: First of all, we have our extended Q&A on Monday for me to catch all the Qs I didn’t have time for in our short 20 minute sessions this week.
Second, you can keep learning as a stress mastery student with me, fast action bonus through Saturday and enrollment open through Monday. And finally, the replays are all up through Sunday at midnight, so if you missed anything, take the weekend to catch up!
